Back by popular demand!! Due to a high number of requests for us to come to Central Canterbury again, we’ve added a another ‘one-off’ delivery point for our next available batch of point of lay pullets on WEDNESDAY 8th July 2026. If this run gains enough popularity, we may need to make it a regular one, so be sure to share it with your neighbours and friends, and combine orders to save on shipping.

These brown egg machines will be a couple of weeks off laying at the time of arrival. Shavers generally begin laying between 18 and 22 weeks of age, with the onset of lay being slower in the winter months due to shorter day length.

Fully vaccinated and reared to a commercial standard these hens are a great addition to your backyard, or farm.
